• 1 Samuel 8:4-9, 19-22 (Versos en las pantallas)
• El pueblo de Israel sigue con las mismas tendencias de querer ser cómo las demás naciones y cuando Samuel ya es de edad avanzada el pueblo pide un rey para ser cómo las demás naciones. Así es que Dios le dará a Israel un hombre de acuerdo a lo que ellos quieren. Un hombre con la apariencia de líder. Un hombre que es un reflejo de ellos mismos: Desobediente, infiel, orgulloso.

 

• 1 Samuel 9:1-3 Había un hombre rico e influyente llamado Cis, de la tribu de Benjamín. Era hijo de Abiel, hijo de Zeror, hijo de Becorat, hijo de Afía, de la tribu de Benjamín. 2 Su hijo Saúl era el hombre más apuesto en Israel; era tan alto que los demás apenas le llegaban a los hombros. 3 Cierto día, los burros de Cis se extraviaron, y él le dijo a Saúl: «Lleva a un siervo contigo y ve a buscar los burros».
• 1 Samuel 10:21-24 21 Después llevó a cada familia de la tribu de Benjamín delante del Señor, y se eligió a la familia de los Matri. Finalmente de entre ellos fue escogido Saúl, hijo de Cis. • 1 Samuel 16:5-13, 18 5 —Sí—contestó Samuel—, vine para ofrecer un sacrificio al Señor. Purifíquense y vengan conmigo al sacrificio. Luego Samuel realizó el rito de purificación para Isaí y sus hijos y también los invitó al sacrificio. 6 Cuando llegaron, Samuel se fijó en Eliab y pensó: «¡Seguramente este es el ungido del Señor!». 7 Pero el Señor le dijo a Samuel: —No juzgues por su apariencia o por su estatura, porque yo lo he rechazado. 18 Entonces un siervo le dijo a Saúl: –Uno de los hijos de Isaí de Belén tiene mucho talento para tocar el arpa. No solo eso, es un guerrero valiente, un hombre de guerra y de buen juicio. También es un joven bien parecido y el Señor está con él.

Y maldijo a David en nombre de sus dioses. 44 —¡Ven aquí, y les daré tu carne a las aves y a los animales salvajes!—gritó Goliat. 45 David le respondió al filisteo: —Tú vienes contra mí con espada, lanza y jabalina, pero yo vengo contra ti en nombre del Señor de los Ejércitos Celestiales, el Dios de los ejércitos de Israel, a quien tú has desafiado. 46 Hoy el Señor te conquistará, y yo te mataré y te cortaré la cabeza. • 1 Samuel 16:1 Tribu grande (Juda), familia común.

• 1 Samuel 16:11, 17:34-35 Cuidaba y rescataba ovejas.
• 1 Samuel 16:21, 17:17-18 Él miso era un siervo. Cuidaba ovejas, servía al rey Saúl, y llevaba pan a sus hermanos.
• 1 Samuel 16:10-11 Lo quisieron esconder con las ovejas, pero Dios lo mando sacar. Fue valiente (16:18)
• 1 Samuel 16:6-7 Ni Samuel ni su Padre esperaban que él fuera el elegido de Dios.
• 1 Samuel 16:18, 17:37 Siervo confiado en Dios sin temor a enfrentar a Goliat. Un hombre obediente conforme al corazón de Dios.

 

• (1 Sam. 17:17) A David, su padre lo envío a sus hermanos a llevarles pan.

• (1 Samuel 17:8-9) David venció al oponente más formidable, Goliat y los Filisteos.

• DAVID, AUNQUE NO PERFECTO, PARECIDO A CRISTO. Obediente, fiel, confiado en Dios, humilde, busco agradar y glorificar a Dios.

¿Y nosotros, nos parecemos más a satanás o más a Cristo? Nuestra razón de existir es glorificar a Dios. Lo glorificamos cuando nos parecemos más a Cristo porque el siempre busco agradar a Dios. Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I know that the penalty for my sin is physical, spiritual, and eternal death. I acknowledge that I can’t do anything about my situation. But I know that You came to pay the penalty for my sin. I trust in You alone as the One who died in my place. • 1 CORINTIOS 12:12-27 12 El cuerpo humano tiene muchas partes, pero las muchas partes forman un cuerpo entero. Lo mismo sucede con el cuerpo de Cristo. 13 Entre nosotros hay algunos que son judíos y otros que son gentiles; algunos son esclavos, y otros son libres. Pero todos fuimos bautizados en un solo cuerpo por un mismo Espíritu, y todos compartimos el mismo Espíritu.14 Así es, el cuerpo consta de muchas partes diferentes, no de una sola parte. 15 Si el pie dijera: «No formo parte del cuerpo porque no soy mano», no por eso dejaría de ser parte del cuerpo. 16 Y si la oreja dijera: «No formo parte del cuerpo porque no soy ojo», ¿dejaría por eso de ser parte del cuerpo? 17 Si todo el cuerpo fuera ojo, ¿cómo podríamos oír? • Diferencias Personales: Las preferencias son elecciones personales, y esas elecciones se pueden deber a varias osas, cultura, edad o gustos.
• FILIPENSES 4:2-3 “Ahora les ruego a Evodia y Sintique, dado que pertenecen al Señor que arreglen su desacuerdo. Y te pido a ti, mi fiel colaborador que ayudes a esas dos mujeres, porque trabajaron mucho a mi lado para dar a conocer a otros la Buena Noticia. Trabajaron junto con Clemente y mis demás colaboradores, cuyos nombres están escritos en el libro de la vida.

 

Estabilidad Relacional Borrosa

• HECHOS 15:36-41 36 Después de un tiempo Pablo le dijo a Bernabé: «Volvamos a visitar cada una de las ciudades donde ya antes predicamos la palabra del Señor para ver cómo andan los nuevos creyentes». 37 Bernabé estuvo de acuerdo y quería llevar con ellos a Juan Marcos; 38 pero Pablo se opuso terminantemente ya que Juan Marcos los había abandonado en Panfilia y no había continuado con ellos en el trabajo. 39 Su desacuerdo fue tan intenso que se separaron. Bernabé tomó a Juan Marcos consigo y navegó hacia Chipre. 40 Pablo escogió a Silas y, al salir, los creyentes lo encomendaron al cuidado misericordioso del Señor. 41 Luego viajó por toda Siria y Cilicia, fortaleciendo a las iglesias.

• JUAN 17:21 “Te pido que todos sean uno, así como tú y yo somos uno, es decir, como tu estas en mí, Padre, y yo estoy en ti. Y que ellos estén en nosotros, para que el mundo crea que tú me enviaste.”
• ¿Como? HEBREOS 12:1-2 ¿Por qué? hay mucho en Juego. La Iglesia de Jesús no es algo a lo que se deba tratar descuidadamente. Jesús murió por la Iglesia. Es su novia.
  • Imponer mis preferencias a los demás es una muestra de gran Orgullo.
  • Creo que todos sabemos lo que Dios piensa sobre el Orgullo.
  • Orar y Trabajar por la Unidad porque glorifica a Dios es una señal de humildad.
  • Se bíblico sin ser arrogante.
  • Siempre la cruz antes de la corona, El sacrificio antes del galardón, la prueba antes de la Victoria y el quebranto antes de la gloria.

• James 1:22-26 22 But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. 23 For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. 24 You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. 25 But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
• For Christians, stewardship is about recognizing where our resources come from and what we should do with them.
• Stewardship helps us develop a more complete picture of our relationship to God and prioritize our finances, values, and lives around the things that matter most.
• In the Bible, we’re encouraged to use and think about God’s resources differently than the rest of the world does.
• If we don’t live out biblical stewardship, we wind up wasting opportunities to glorify God and advance his kingdom on Earth.

• Steward is an ancient job title, and it comes from the word Oikonomia, which means “management” or “administration. ” It is derived from oikos (house) and nomos (law). Steward can also be understood as the management of a household or a resource. It describes a person who takes care of or manages something for someone else.
• Anytime you’re responsible for something that belongs to someone else, that’s stewardship.
• The Bible makes it clear that: Everything belongs to God, he entrusts some things to us, we have a responsibility to manage them wisely on his behalf.
• Biblical stewardship challenges us to recognize that God is the true owner of everything and that he expects us to manage his resources in a certain way.

EVERYTHING BELONGS TO GOD

• The Bible makes it abundantly clear that as the creator of everything, God owns everything.
• Job 41:11 Who has given me anything that I need to pay back? Everything under heaven is mine.
• Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.

HE ENTRUSTS SOME THINGS TO US

• Since God owns everything, all that we have comes from him. Not just our resources either. Things like wealth, riches, honor, strength, power, and authority belong to him too.
• 1 Chronicles 29:12 12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything. Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

 

• Stewardship goes beyond simply “borrowing” things from God. He’s not just loaning us money and other resources. He’s entrusting them to us.
• As stewards, our challenge is to use God’s resources in ways that advance his interests.
• The Bible is full of passages instructing us to use our resources to care for the poor and those who are in need (1 John 3:17-18, Proverbs 28:27, 1 Timothy 5:8).
• Stewardship isn’t about “giving back” to God. It’s about using what he’s given us to accomplish something that matters.
• Matthew 25:26–27 “But the master replied, ‘You wicked and lazy servant! If you knew I harvested crops I didn’t plant and gathered crops I didn’t cultivate, 27 why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank? At least I could have gotten some interest on it.’
• It’s not good enough to simply not waste what God gives us. We need to ensure that God gets a good return on his investment.
• Matthew 6:19–21 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.
• We can choose to accumulate wealth and glory for ourselves here on earth, where it will not last, or we can use what God gives us to store up treasure in heaven, where it will last forever. Which type of treasure we pursue and invest in will reveal where our hearts are. Are we prioritizing our lives and our resources around the investments God cares about, or are we reaping our rewards now, on earth?
• Acts 4:32–35 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had. 33 The apostles testified powerfully to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and God’s great blessing was upon them all. 34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.
• We are called to use our resources to meet the needs in our own communities.
• Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.

 

• The Apostle Paul didn’t consider stewardship to simply be a financial matter. He even considered his understanding to be a resource that he needed to steward appropriately, and encouraged the Corinthians to be stewards of the things that had been entrusted to them.
• 1 Corinthians 4:1–2 So, look at Apollos and me as mere servants of Christ who have been put in charge of explaining God’s mysteries. 2 Now, a person who is put in charge as a manager must be faithful.

“STEWARDS OF GOD’S GRACE”

• We have a responsibility to steward God’s grace. God has given each of us gifts, and when we use them to serve other people—especially those who cannot repay us or do not “deserve” that service—we’re sharing his grace with others.

“FILL THE EARTH AND SUBDUE IT”

• When God created humans, he gave us a job: it was to steward his creation.
• Genesis 1:28 Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.”

IF YOU’RE A HUMAN, YOU’RE A STEWARD

• Not everyone believes in God. And not everyone believes they have a responsibility to use what they have in any particular way. But every single person is a steward, whether they’re a Christian or not.

LEARN WHAT GOD VALUES

• Part of our responsibility as stewards is to use what God gives us wisely. We need to apply our resources, skills, gifts, and time in ways that matter to God.
• If we want to be good stewards, we need to care about the things that move God. Through the example of Jesus, it should be abundantly clear that God cares about people—particularly the poor, the vulnerable, and the destitute.
• James 1:27 “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.”

 

• As you strive to be a good steward, it should cause you to think differently about the things in your possession. Everything belongs to God, and everything he gives us represents new opportunities to serve others and share the love of Christ.

  • He wants you to give out of a sense of obligation.
  • And He does not want you to give with a begrudging heart.

• 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each of you must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.”
• Luke 6:38 38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

1 Samuel 4:1b-2 En aquel tiempo, Israel estaba en guerra con los filisteos. El ejército israelita acampaba cerca de Ebenezer y los filisteos estaban en Afec. 2 Los filisteos atacaron al ejército de Israel y lo derrotaron matando a cuatro mil hombres.

• VERSO 1: Los rivales – Los Filisteos quienes venían de la isla griega de Creta. Ellos poseían equipo militar griego.
• VERSO 2: La derrota – A pesar de la promesa que tenían de parte de Dios, el pueblo de Dios es derrotado en esta batalla.

1 Samuel 4:3-5 3 Terminada la batalla, las tropas se retiraron a su campamento, y los ancianos de Israel se preguntaban: «¿Por qué permitió el Señor que los filisteos nos derrotaran?» Después dijeron: «Traigamos de Silo el arca del pacto del Señor. Si la llevamos con nosotros a la batalla, nos salvará de nuestros enemigos». 4 Así que enviaron hombres a Silo para que trajeran el arca del pacto del Señor de los Ejércitos Celestiales, quien está entronizado entre los querubines. Los hijos de Elí, Ofni y Finees, también estaban allí con el arca del pacto de Dios. 5 Cuando los israelitas vieron que el arca del pacto del Señor llegaba al campamento, ¡su grito de alegría fue tan fuerte que hizo temblar la tierra!

• VERSO 3a: Ignorancia – El pueblo de Dios no tiene idea de porque Dios no está con ellos cuando enfrentan sus batallas. A que conclusión llegan?
• VERSO 3b: Superstición – Ven el arca de Dios como un ídolo/amuleto.
• VERSO 4: Falta de respeto ante Dios – Sacaron el arca sin consultar a Dios.
• VERSO 5: Alegría ignorante – Creían que Dios estaba con ellos cuando no era así.

 

1 Samuel 4:6-11 6 «¿Qué estará pasando?—se preguntaron los filisteos—. ¿Qué es todo ese griterío en el campamento de los hebreos?». Cuando les dijeron que era porque el arca del Señor había llegado al campamento, 7 entraron en pánico. «¡Los dioses han llegado a su campamento!—exclamaron—. ¡Esto es un desastre! ¡Nunca antes nos hemos enfrentado a algo así! 8 ¡Socorro! ¿Quién podrá librarnos de los dioses poderosos de Israel? Son los mismos dioses que destruyeron a los egipcios con plagas cuando Israel estaba en el desierto. 9 ¡Filisteos, peleen como nunca antes! ¡Si no lo hacen, seremos esclavos de los hebreos así como ellos han sido esclavos nuestros! ¡Peleen como hombres!». 10 Así que los filisteos pelearon con desesperación, y de nuevo derrotaron a Israel. La matanza fue grande; ese día murieron treinta mil soldados israelitas. Los sobrevivientes dieron la vuelta y huyeron, cado uno a su carpa. 11 Entonces los filisteos capturaron el arca de Dios y mataron a Ofni y a Finees, los dos hijos de Elí.

• VERSOS 6-8: Los Filisteos también ven a Dios cómo un ídolo.
• VERSOS 9-11: Los Filisteos pelean contra el “ídolo” de Israel y obtienen victoria. Mueren los hijos de Elí, Ofni y Finees.

CONCLUSIÓN:

• Israel y los Filisteos son parecidos.
• Ambos ven a Dios cómo un ídolo.
• Ambos piensan que Dios está con Israel, pero no es así.
• Ambos conocen de Dios pero no conocen a Dios y no le sirven a él.

 

1 Samuel 5 – Resumen: Dios muestra su poder sobre el dios de los Filisteos, Dagón. Los Filisteos reconocen que Dios es más poderoso que su dios (VERSO 7), pero aun así rechazan al Dios de Israel y eligen seguir con su dios falso.

1 Samuel 7:2-6 – Resumen: Samuel guía a Israel a regresar a Dios por medio del arrepentimiento y ellos confiesan su pecado y regresan a Dios.

• Reflexiona: ¿Habrá cosas en nuestras vidas que nos alejan de Dios y es necesario removerlas para volver a Él? Ídolos, malas actitudes, pecados, hábitos, desobediencia, etc. ¿Cosas que no le den la gloria a Dios?
• Santiago 4:8 Acérquense a Dios, y Dios se acercará a ustedes. Lávense las manos, pecadores; purifiquen su corazón, porque su lealtad está dividida entre Dios y el mundo. No podemos pertenecer a Dios y a la misma vez vivir cómo los incrédulos, de una manera contraria a la que él nos pide vivir.

• Disunity is a lack of order or ,  a decline into disorder.
• If you work with , you deal with disunity all the time. That’s why there are dismissals, intense conversations, and realignments.
• Everything that involves people can lead to disunity.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27 The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. 1. PERSONAL DIFFERENCES

• Preferences are to a biblical standard.
• Preferences are choices. Everybody is different, and it has nothing to do with biblical authority or instruction.
• Philippians 4:2-3 Now I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. 3 And I ask you, my true partner, to help these two women, for they worked hard with me in telling others the Good News. They worked along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are written in the Book of Life.

 

2. BLURRED RELATIONAL STABILITY

• Acts 15:36-41 After some time Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.” 37 Barnabas agreed and wanted to take along John Mark. 38 But Paul disagreed strongly, since John Mark had deserted them in Pamphylia and had not continued with them in their work. 39 Their disagreement was so sharp that they separated. Barnabas took John Mark with him and sailed for Cyprus. 40 Paul chose Silas, and as he left, the believers entrusted him to the Lord’s gracious care. 41 Then he traveled throughout Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches there.
• Paul and Barnabas did not split over .
• God, in His providence, created two ministry teams. The gospel probably spread faster.
• There are two brothers in the faith, but they cannot work together. While they agreed on much, the personnel were mismatched.

1. Be not to slander others.
2. Be to look at all sides.
3. Be to admit a poor attitude.
4. Be to unity.

• 2 Timothy 4:9-11 Timothy, please come as soon as you can. 10 Demas has deserted me because he loves the things of this life and has gone to Thessalonica. Crescens has gone to Galatia, and Titus has gone to Dalmatia. 11 Only Luke is with me. Bring Mark with you when you come, for he will be helpful to me in my ministry. >>> Paul put the past in the past, and Mark matured.

• HOW? -> Hebrews 12:1-2 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.

• La mayordomía es mencionada en más de 2,300 versículos.
• Para los cristianos, la mayordomía implica reconocer la fuente de nuestros recursos y entender cómo debemos administrarlos.
• Entender y aplicar una buena mayordomía es fundamental para crecer como discípulos de Jesús.
• El ser buenos mayordomos de Jesús nos permite tener una perspectiva más amplia de nuestra relación con Dios y a ordenar nuestras finanzas, valores y vidas en función del reino de Dios.
• Si no practicamos la mayordomía bíblica, acabamos desperdiciando oportunidades para glorificar a Dios y promover su reino en la Tierra.

 

• Mayoordomo es un título laboral antiguo que tiene su origen en la palabra Oikonomia, la cual significa “gestión” o “administración“. Esta palabra se deriva de oikos (casa) y nomos (ley), y puede interpretarse también como la administración de un hogar o de recursos. Se refiere a una persona encargada de cuidar o gestionar algo en nombre de otra persona.
• Hoy en día hay una gran variedad de profesiones, roles y situaciones que podrían clasificarse en la categoría de mayordomía.
• Siempre que asumes la responsabilidad de algo que pertenece a otra persona, eso es administración, eso es mayordomía.

 

• La mayordomía bíblica nos invita a reconocer que Dios es el auténtico propietario de todo lo que tenemos y somos. Y que Dios espera que gestionemos sus recursos de una manera específica.
• La Biblia establece de manera clara que, como creador de todo, Dios es el propietario de todo.
• Job 41:11 ¿Quién me ha otorgado algo que deba restituir? Todo lo que existe bajo el cielo es mío.
• Incluso nosotros somos su propiedad:
• Salmo 24:1 Del Señor es la tierra y todo lo que contiene. El mundo y todos sus habitantes le pertenecen.
• Como Dios es el propietario de todo, todo lo que poseemos proviene de Él. No solo nuestros recursos. Elementos como la riqueza, el honor, la fuerza, el poder y la autoridad también le pertenecen.
• 1 Crónicas 29:12 La riqueza y el honor provienen únicamente de ti, ya que lo controlas todo. El poder y la fuerza están en tu mano, y a tu voluntad los pueblos se engrandecen y se fortalecen.
• El reconocer que todo, incluso nuestras vidas le pertenecen a Dios es uno de los aspectos más desafiantes de la mayordomía bíblica que los discípulos de Jesús debemos entender.

 

• A Dios le interesa cómo utilizas lo que él te encomienda.
• La mayordomía abarca más que simplemente “tomar prestado” cosas de Dios. Él no solo nos presta dinero y otros recursos; nos los encomienda.
• Mientras estén bajo nuestro cuidado, tenemos la posibilidad de utilizar los recursos de Dios a nuestro antojo.
• Podemos destinarlos completamente a nuestro beneficio y emplearlos en asuntos que solo nos conciernen.
• Sin embargo, Dios confía en nosotros para hacer mucho más que eso.
• Como administradores (mayordomos), nuestra misión es emplear los recursos de Dios de maneras que avancen sus Reino que incluye atender las necesidades de los demás.

 

• La mayordomía no consiste en devolverle algo a Dios. Se trata de utilizar lo que nos ha otorgado para alcanzar algo significativo.
• En Mateo 25:14-30 Jesús narra la parábola de los talentos en el marco de la preparación para su regreso.
• No es suficiente con no malgastar lo que Dios nos proporciona. Debemos garantizar que Dios obtenga un buen rendimiento de su inversión. ¿Cuál inversión? El rescate de nuestras vidas a través del sacrificio de nuestro señor Jesús en la cruz, él nos ha comprado!
• Pero no podemos tener ambas cosas. Mateo 6:19-21 «No acumulen tesoros en la tierra, donde la polilla los consume y el óxido los corrompe, y donde los ladrones excavan y roban. 20 Almacenen sus tesoros en el cielo, donde la polilla y el óxido no pueden destruir, y los ladrones no excavan ni roban. 21 Donde esté su tesoro, allí también estarán los anhelos de su corazón.»
• La mayordomía bíblica nos motiva a acumular tesoros en el cielo.

 

• Los primeros cristianos no se restringían a diezmar como lo requería el Antiguo Testamento. Compartían todo (Hechos 2:44).
• Unir sus recursos generó una oportunidad para confiar en que Dios proveería y manifestaría su inmenso amor a los demás.
• Hechos 4:32-35 Todos los creyentes estaban en perfecta armonía y compartían un mismo propósito. Sentían que sus posesiones no les pertenecían, por lo que compartían todo lo que tenían. 33 Los apóstoles testificaron con gran firmeza sobre la resurrección del Señor Jesús, y la abundante bendición de Dios se derramó sobre todos ellos. 34 No había personas necesitadas entre ellos, ya que aquellos que poseían terrenos o casas los vendían 35 y entregaban el dinero a los apóstoles para que lo distribuyeran entre los necesitados.

 

• La mayordomía bíblica nos invita a servir a Dios con nuestros recursos.
• Mateo 6:24 Nadie puede servir a dos señores. Porque odiarás a uno y amarás al otro; te aferrarás a uno y despreciarás al otro. No se puede servir a Dios y ser esclavo del dinero.
• ¿Nos enfocamos en ganar, poseer y alcanzar más, o nos comprometemos a expandir el reino de Dios?

 

• El apóstol Pablo no veía la mayordomía únicamente como un tema financiero, también consideraba que su entendimiento era un recurso esencial.
• Exhortó a los corintios a ser mayordomos de lo que se les había encomendado.
• 1 Corintios 4:1-2 Así que, a Apolos y a mí, considérennos como simples siervos de Cristo, a quienes se nos encargó la tarea de explicar los misterios de Dios. 2 Ahora bien, alguien que recibe el cargo de administrador debe ser fiel.
• “Administradores de la gracia divina” De la misma manera, tenemos la responsabilidad de gestionar la gracia de Dios. Dios nos ha otorgado talentos a cada uno, y cuando los empleamos para servir a los demás —especialmente a aquellos que no pueden retribuirnos o que no merecen ese servicio—, compartimos su gracia con los demás.

 

• Todo cristiano debe esforzarse por ser un administrador leal de los recursos, talentos, bendiciones y responsabilidades que Dios le ha otorgado.
• No todos creen en Dios. Y no todos consideran que tienen la responsabilidad de utilizar lo que poseen de una manera particular. Sin embargo, cada individuo es un administrador, ya sea cristiano o no.
• Independientemente de que alguien lo reconozca o no, todo sigue siendo de Dios.
• Ser un buen administrador empieza por aceptar que ya lo eres.

 

• Parte de nuestra responsabilidad como administradores consiste en utilizar de manera sabia lo que Dios nos proporciona.
• Es fundamental emplear nuestros recursos, habilidades, dones y tiempo de formas que sean significativas para Dios.
• Si deseamos ser buenos administradores, debemos interesarnos por las cosas que le importan a Dios.
• Dios también desea redimir al mundo a través del evangelio, y nos ha encomendado participar en ello (Mateo 28:16-20).
• Santiago 1:27 “La religión auténtica y verdadera ante Dios el Padre implica cuidar de los huérfanos y de las viudas en sus tribulaciones y no dejar que el mundo los contamine.”

 

• A menudo consideramos “cuidar las cosas” como mantenerlas en óptimas condiciones. Sin embargo, si tus herramientas, vehículos, alimentos, hogar, entretenimiento y otras pertenencias permanecen intactas o se utilizan únicamente para tu comodidad, ¿realmente eso constituye una buena administración?
• Al esforzarte por ser un buen administrador, deberías comenzar a pensar de manera distinta acerca de tus posesiones. Todo pertenece a Dios, y todo lo que Él nos otorga simboliza nuevas oportunidades para servir a los demás y difundir el amor de Cristo.

For he issued his laws to Jacob; he gave his laws to Jacob; he gave his instructions to Israel. He commanded our ancestors to teach them to their children, so the next generation might know them- even the children not yet born- and they in turn will teach their own children.
• Deuteronomy 6:6-9 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders. Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
• God didn’t instruct them to only talk about them at church. He said repeat them again and again, talk about them at home and when you’re away, when you’re going to bed and getting up.
